PATIENTS staying on some wards at the Royal Bolton Hospital will be asked to fill in comment cards about their treatment.
As part of a new government scheme, the Department of Health has asked hospitals nationwide to ask patients to fill in the cards by spring this year.
The scheme is designed to get patient feedback about their treatment at the hospital.
A pilot scheme has already been carried out in the discharge lounge at the Royal Bolton, where this month 67 patients filled in the cards in two weeks.
The feedback led to the cases of seven patients being investigated.
The pilot scheme is being also being rolled out in the ear, nose and throat outpatient department, the eye unit and wards C1 and C2 in Bolton this month.
