THE true meaning of Easter will be brought home when Christians carry a large wooden cross across Victoria Square in Bolton on Friday.
A procession will take place through the centre of Bolton before a short service is carried out in front of the town hall and hot cross buns will be handed to passers-by.
They will be served on serviettes, on which the true story of Easter has been printed, following a service at the St Andrews & St George's United Reformed Church at 11am.
