THERE is more than one big fixture on Saturday afternoon - and one thing is for sure, Alder House won't be a place for the squeamish.
Local pride is at stake as struggling Colls take on the mid-table Laburnums, with the home side in desperate need of three points to keep their noses above the relegation zone.
Colls boss Alan Lord, who used to manage at Crilly Park, will be looking for his first victory since November against a side with which they share strained relations at best.
"I don't think it's a very big secret that the two sides don't like each other," explained Colls secretary Emil Anderson. "They are in a better position than us this season, but hopefully we can turn it around and take something from the game."
Colls are hoping to bring back big guns Steve Hughes, Paul Meredith, Chris Dalton, Jermaine Peters and Mark Jones in a match which is seldom an advert for the beautiful game, said LR's Steve Hartle.
"It's not one I look forward to, if I'm honest. There's always a bit of atmosphere between the two sides.
"There are two or three players on each side who have played on both teams, and it usually gets a bit niggly to say the least."
Laburnums will bring back Ben Obong after injury in place of recent signing Scott Walker, and should also recall defender Lee Riley.
l Colls take on Glossop North End at home on Easter Monday (3pm kick-off), Laburnums travel to Curzon Ashton.
