BURY FC youth team coach Chris Casper is hoping Shakers fans get down to Gigg Lane to show their support for England's Under-19s when they take on their Swedish counterparts on Monday evening (7.30pm).
The match will be England's second in a four-team round robin tournament, giving local fans a unique opportunity to see the latest crop of young England stars in action.
Casper, who played for England at Under-18 and Under-21 level and was part of the Under-21s team that won the European Championships, said: "It's great that Bury is hosting this international fixture.
"Local football fans will create a fantastic atmosphere and I urge them to come out in force and get behind the team.
"I'd like to wish England the best of luck and I hope that they can give the Bury public a memorable performance."
Gigg Lane will also host the Denmark v Sweden match next Wednesday (7.30pm).
