THE winter season is drawing to a close, and it looks as though the competition will go right to the wire, both for teams and the merit tables.
Remember next week is the official last week of the season, and teams must ensure outstanding games are played up to date. Only one extra week has been allocated to catch up any remaining games.
Cards from this extra week have to be in within two days of being played, which allows all the teams and players who may be affected by the play-offs to be notified in good time. Individual players finishing on the same number of points will have to enter a play-off on Monday, April 18.
These players will be notified and a list will be published nearer to the time.
Entry Forms for the Summer season are now available from Halliwell Conservative Club or via the website at www.abdarts.co.uk. All teams wishing to enter must fill in a form and return it before April 4. No entries will be accepted after this date. Entry fees are £30 plus a £1 per player registration fee.
The Ladies 133's competition is on Monday, April 4, at the Crofters Arms, Halliwell Road, from 8.30pm. The Mens 180s is a week later on April 11. Qualifiers will be listed next week.
