BOLTON businessmen David Hughes and Jason Kilvert, joint Managing Directors of Incom Business Systems, have seen their company beat stiff competition to become one of the finalists in the Reseller of the Year category for the Comms Channel Awards 2005.
With more than 3,000 resellers in the UK, four finalists have been shortlisted, with the winners to be announced at an awards ceremony in Birmingham on April 12.
Since a successful management buy out in March 2004, Mr Hughes, of Westhoughton and Mr Kilvert, of Lostock, along with Finance Director Bev Whyman, have seen the company exceed projected targets.
The Comms Channel Awards accolade comes as recognition of their hard work and continued investment in the business and its staff.
Mr Hughes said: "We are delighted to be a finalist at the Comms Channel Awards on our first year of entry.
"The judges made no secret of the fact that judging this year would focus on Return on Investment which is at the heart of what we aim to achieve for our customers.Incom Business Systems' head office is in Trafford Park, Manchester and the company has engineering bases across the the UK.
Established in 1989, the company was among the first from a traditional voice background to take the leap into converged voice and data communication solutions and has expertise in all aspects of convergence technology including VoIP, CTI, Wireless Networking, Call Centre technology and Voice over WAN.
The firm's national accounts include British Transport Police, NHS, Salvation Army, Ministry of Defence, Macdonald Hotels and Campanile Hotels.
