IN response to K Jester about drivers stopping on crossings, it's not that they can't stop in time - it's that some drivers seem to think they should stop across the line rather than behind it.
I've seen many cars approach the Sainsbury's traffic lights while they're on red, and, instead of stopping, crawl forwards until their car is completely across the white line.
Why is it that, these days, some drivers only obey the law if there is a camera or a policeman present to enforce it?
