A NEW ferry service between Liverpool and Dublin has been announced to begin next month.
Liverpool-based company Irishseaexpress.com will provide a fast catamaran twice daily to make the four-hour trip to Dublin.
The company is taking over the service after it was scrapped by the Isle of Man Steam Packet last year. Daytripper numbers had declined after duty-free shopping between the two countries ended.
