A MAN was cut free from the wreckage of a van following a crash on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the East Lancashire Road, Leigh, at 12-30pm after a red LDV van collided with a stationary vehicle on the Liverpool-bound carriageway.
A 30-year-old man from St Helens, front seat passenger in the van, was cut free by fire crews and taken to Wigan Royal Albert and Edward Hospital where he is being treated for head injuries.
