BOLTON Under-15s look set to finish in the top three of the Greater Manchester Schools League with four games to play against Trafford, Stockport, Warrington and leaders Tameside.
They will have to win all four if they are to win the league.
Bolton have beaten Bury 3-1, Wigan 3-2 and they picked up a point in a 3-3 draw against Salford. But they have also lost 3-0 to second placed Manchester.
Bolton are still in with a chance of honours in the County Cup and they made it into the final with a superb 5-2 win against Wigan.
Bury Under 15s are rooted to the bottom of the league and Bury Under 14s are bottom but have a chance of honours in the Talbot Cup after holding Salford to a 2-2 draw in their quarter-final clash.
