BOLTON comedian Andy Smith was a star of the small-screen after making his television debut on a retrospective look at the last decade of North West comedy.
The 35-year-old, who was placed third in the prestigious City Life Comedian of the Year contest, was seen on ITV1's Havin a Laugh show, screened on Tuesday evening, which looks at comedy past and present in the region. Andy was shown in action at top Manchester comedy venue The Frog and Bucket, and was interviewed by fellow comic Smug Roberts, who appeared in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.
Andy appeared as a newcomer tipped for the top.
