MORE than 30 swimmers made a splash to raise cash for a children's charity at a sponsored swimathon.
The event, which took place at Horwich Leisure Centre, was organised to help raise £2 million for children's charity NCH, formerly know as the National Children's Home.
Shirley Wilkinson, the centre manager, said £600 was raised.
She added: "It went very well. We were very pleased with the turnout.
"We are hoping to do it again next year because it's a good community project to raise money for NCH."
The charity helps around 80,000 children every year.
