NEW arrival at Smithills Open Farm Ozzy Oz-boar is a real celebrity animal - and is just as noisy as his rock wildman namesake.
The five-day-old Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pig was born at the farm over the Easter weekend, along with his two siblings. The two female piglets have also been named after members of the hell-raising Osbourne clan, who star in their own reality TV show, taking on the names Kelly and Sharon.
Anthony Grimshaw, who runs the farm, said: "They are a real hit with all the visitors and will sit on people's knees for hours - that's if they keep quiet.
"Just like the Osbournes they can make a real racket, so some members of staff decided to name them after the family.
"Visitors see the funny side, and they're really popular with the youngsters because they're so small."
The farm in Smithills Dean Road is home to donkeys, ponies, rabbits, chickens, ducklings, hens, lambs and owls, and has already attracted hundreds of visitors over the Easter holiday break.
