AFTER numerous letters complaining about the serious condition of Hulton Lane just for a change here is a word of thanks.
Councillors representing this ward attended a site meeting with some of the residents, and low and behold at the wave of the local government magic wand, the council coffers sprang open and money was available for isolated temporary repairs.
We were further promised a more permanent solution later in the year along with traffic calming measures (please not speed humps) and these hopefully will be successful enough to deter all the drivers that are of the opinion that Hulton Lane is an extension of Brands Hatch.
To the three councillors involved may I say a sincere thanks guys.
TF Hampson,
Hulton Lane
