A WOMAN, aged 68, was taken to hospital after her Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Renault Peugeot in Kearsley on Friday night.
The pensioner had been travelling along Bolton Road at 6.45pm when the accident happened. The woman was given oxygen therapy at the scene by firefighters and taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital suffering from neck and leg injuries and shock. The other driver escaped unharmed.
