THERE is a large body of scientific evidence supporting the use of fluoride in the prevention of dental decay.
The positive health benefits are well documented. Accounts of adverse health effects are anecdotal and have not been scientifically proven.
The overwhelming majority of dentists and all the professional bodies representing local dentists in Bolton are strongly in favour of fluoridation of the water supply.
The undersigned strongly support the introduction fluoride into the water supply at the earliest possible opportunity.
