BOLTON RUFC's matches on Saturday were lost to the weather as the pitches had taken a hammering during the week, when the club hosted the local schools festivals.
As games are now being rearranged with more local matches being played midweek, the club asks all players to keep in touch for any changes that may occur. The firsts play their last league game of the season at Eccles on Saturday.
The seconds finished a creditable fifth in the league when they won their final game of the season 24-16 on Sunday against Manchester.
They got off to a flying start from winger Stuart Paul and prop Chris Mee, but then trailed 13-10. Paul Sutcliffe and Andy Leigh scored two tries to give Bolton the win.
The club, who play in the North Lancashire League, are looking for a player coach/coach for next season. Anyone interested in the post please e-mail coach@bolton rugby.co.uk or ring 01204 480533.
