JACK Sinclair (Give us a referendum on fluoride, June 3) came straight to the point - anyone who wants fluoride could buy tablets or use fluoridated toothpaste (even though fluoride in toothpaste, rinses and gels is a waste from the aluminium industry).
For the rest of us who prefer not to be mass medicated with a poison more poisonous than lead, and only slightly less than arsenic - we would like our water without additives.
Maybe the counsellors who promote fluoridation of our water supply are thinking in terms of finance, and not health?
The mottling of teeth looks awful, as Jack Sinclair says, but even more sinister are the early signs of fluoride poisoning - gastric pain, diarrhoea, inflammation of the mouth, migraine, blurred vision, convulsions, arthritis, lumbar pain, asthma, dermatitis, vertigo, rheumatic pain and a marked mental deterioration.
For anyone with a marked lack of energy, it is interesting to note that there are similarities between key features of chronic fatigue/ME and those seen in fluoride poisoning.
Thank you, Bolton, for continuing your vote against compulsorily fluoridation.
