THE summer season is off to a great start with Paul Williams taking early lead in the top flight merit race.

Brian Ashton has made a flying start in Section Two, with Allan Malloy and Billy Thomasson sharing top spot in Section Three. F Heron leads the way in Section Four.

In the Ladies Sections Lisa Stephens leads the way currently with a perfect record.

Linda Heyes edges out in front in Section Two, Jean Simpson is flying high in Section Three. and Heather Munro is sitting in top spot in Section Four.

The next competition is the popular Mixed Pairs to be held on June 27, at Halliwell Conservative Club. Draw will be made at 8.30pm.
