IT is amazing how anti-smokers have increased their outcry over the past couple of years.
Our ancestors fought wars to give us freedom, yet, ever since, authorities of one kind or another have been taking it away, telling us what we should or should not do, what we can and cannot eat, drink, or smoke.
I have smoked a pipe for over 40 years - in moderation and with consideration. never finding it necessary to smoke between courses, or in restaurants.
I would like to ban alcohol in all public places, so I wouldn't have to endure people's mood swings and anti-social behaviour.
I estimate the accident and emergency units in hospitals are under more pressure from drink-related problems than anything to do with smoking.
