PORTUGUESE superstar Luis Figo has priced himself out of a move to Wanderers, says boss Sam Allardyce.
The Real Madrid wingerwas linked with a shock move to the Reebok Stadium, but talks stalled over the former World Player of the Year's salary demands.
Allardyce confirmed: "We no longer have an interest in the player and have ruled ourselves out of the running to sign Luis Figo.
"Due to the size of the player's salary, we are unable to compete at that level."
Elsewhere, former Wanderers defender Anthony Barness has signed a two-year deal at Plymouth and youngster Ricky Shakes has agreed to sign for Swindon.

lWanderers have extended the deadline for the "Early Purchase Season Ticket as sales continue to soar.
The deadline has been moved from Saturday, June 18, to Saturday, June 25, to avoid congestion, enabling supporters to receive a 10 per cent discount off the standard cost.
