AN award-winning independent Lancashire brewery which celebrated its 140th anniversary on Wednesday, wants to double the size and increase its workforce by 25 per cent.
Moorhouses manufactures award-winning beers such as Pendle Witches Brew and Premier Bitter.
It won the International Brewing Industry award for best cask ale in the world in 2004.
Managing Director David Grant told BBC Lancashire the money would also be spent on opening new Moorhouses pubs.
