REGARDING the green box supplied by the council, which, in my opinion, is cheap-skating by not providing a clip-on lid.
If these boxes are left outside, they will be subject to nocturnal foragings by cats, rats, hedgehogs, grey squirrels and birds, which, in turn, could cause harm to them by jagged edges on tins.
My daughter lives in Stockport where their boxes were supplied with a lid.
Likewise, my niece, who lives in Blackburn; theirs also have lids.
So, Bolton Council, can we have an explanation please?
