BOLTON League's Hamer Cup quarter-finals will have to be continued after torrential rain curtailed play on Sunday.

Holders Westhoughton still have plenty to do on Monday night in the remaining nine overs of the 50-over clash at Eagley.

They were restricted to 138-5 and are relying on professional Antonio Mayers, who is unbeaten on 30, to significantly add to the tally.

Ian Pilkington gave Westhoughton a solid start with 43 as the visitors put on more than 60 before the fall of the first wicket.

Farnworth restricted Walkden to 126-2 off 36.2 overs.

Mike Bennison was out for 25 and Jason Swift for 20, but David Smith is still there unbeaten on 69. The game will continue on Sunday.

The clash between Astley Bridge and Bradshaw will continue on Monday night with Bradshaw on 132-4 with 10 overs remaining.

Egerton managed to continue after the rain in their clash with Little Lever.

The home side made 228-9 with pro Jadhav again top scorer with 66 supported by 37 from Chris Evans, while Mark Martin took 4-30.

In reply, Little Lever are 133-4 after 24 overs with pro Sajid still there on 49.

Josh Cunliffe has taken 2-22.

The game will continue Monday nnight.
