RAMSBOTTOM Cricket Club's tea room building was damaged on Sunday after a fire in an extractor hood caused a kitchen blaze.
The club's second team match was stopped but resumed after firefighters declared the building safe. Fire and smoke had spread in the wooden building, which is used to serve refreshments on match days.
