RADHI Jaidi is understood to have settled his differences with Wanderers.

The Tunisian centre half is reported to have signed a new deal to stay with Wanderers for a further two years.

Wanderers were rocked when the giant defender handed in a transfer request last month.

Wanderers chairman, Phil Gartside, was disgusted with the behaviour of Jaidi's agent who Gartside accused of allegedly hawking him around to other clubs.

Manager Sam Allardyce sees Jaidi as a big part of his squad, despite the player losing his place in the second half of the season to Tal Ben Haim, and Wanderers rejected the transfer request.

Wanderers will need all their experienced senior players next season when they embark on their first ever European competition.

Middlesbrough and Charlton were ready to pounce for Jaidi if they got any encouragement from Wanderers but now, it appears, the player will remain with the Whites for some years to come.

Jaidi, who is playing for Tunisia in the Confederations Cup, is reported to have signed for two more seasons with the option of a further year.

He still had one year, with the option of a further year, remaining on his current contract which he signed 12 months ago when he arrived from Esperance De Tunis a year ago.
