I WOULD like to comment on the play area on the Tetbury estate (Bolton Evening News, Monday, June 13).
Hall 'i'th' Wood Residents' Association have tried for 10 years to get a park here.
The good news for us was we got the money, or so we thought, then on July 5, 2000, we were told we had £50,000 plus £30,000 carried over.
That's £80,000 - and there is still no park.
The residents of Breightmet have my deepest sympathy, I hope you win the fight.
It was with deep regret to the residents of Hall 'i'th Wood that our association decided we could no longer accept the way things were going, and left after 10 years service, and we did not receive one thank you.
