WHAT is going on with teenagers today, don't they go to school anymore?
Twice recently I have been woken up between the hours of 1.30am and 2.30am, by teenage boys kicking a football around and generally chatting and laughing.
In fact on one occasion they were still up and about at 5am, surely they aren't going to school after being up all night causing a nuisance.
I would like to know if their parents know they are out at these hours, and, more importantly, do they know if they are going to school?
They have defaced the walls and a brand new door of a house on the street, and smashed up a video camera attached to the house front!
I have no objection to these kids having fun, but am I being unreasonable asking them to keep quite at the time when people are in bed?
Some of us have to go to work in the morning. But what can I do about it - ring the police? As soon as these kids see the car or van they run off.
I am at a loss to what the residents of Union Road can do about it, and I am losing my patience, as well as sleep.
