POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a gang of youths who attacked a couple who had just got off a train at a railway station in Lancashire.
The husband and wife suffered severe cuts and bruises, while a woman pushing a pram had stones thrown at her.
Stones were also thrown at other passengers who were getting off the train at Leyland railway station on Saturday evening.
Six people have been arrested and released on bail. Police are appealing for help from the public reports BBC Lancashire.
