JUNE 14, was the first collection day of our green bins and boxes. I was impressed to see the number of people who had taken the time to recycle items for both containers.
The bins and boxes were neatly placed outside many houses ready for collection.
On returning home I was disgusted at the way the empty containers had been left.
Green boxes were thrown on their sides, and bins were scattered over the pavements. There were a few tins and boxes lying around, which should have been picked up.
What is happening to the "Keep Britain Tidy" campaign?
When we take the time to do our bit of sorting, surely we should find our empty containers put where we have left them?
Another example of the "Don't care attitude".
