FORMER cocklers banned from Morecambe Bay have set up a safari company running tourist trips on board a former Army amphibious vehicle.
The amphibious tank, a British Army Hagglund BV, which travels on water and sand, used to transport cocklers to the bay, but has been sitting idle since April.
The Hagglund is fitted with satellite navigation and life jackets reports
