BOLTON Seniors won a superb match against Bury, making it a clean sweep in the home BSF inter-league series.
They now lead the series 4-0, leaving Bury much to do as the matches move onto their turf.
A commanding first half performance gave Bolton an early 36-run lead after 22 runs from Joanne Mullard, 14 from Julie Pardon, and 11 from both Angela Booth and Sharon Buller.
Bury managed to hold Bolton to 59 runs in the second half,but could not stop Kerry Anderton scoring 17.
Bury's second innings produced just 47 runs, leaving Bolton a win of 156-108.
Joanne Mullard was voted Player's Player.
In the Horwich Shield, Craven, Dunscar Bridge Ladies, Impression Ladies and The Yorkettes, all made it through to the semi finals, which will be played at Hulton Lane Playing Fields in the week starting July 11.
In a high scoring, but fairly even Section L match, Lever Ladies beat FG Electrics 251-222. Diane Newsome 47, Karen Langhorn 36, Jackie Rigby 34 and Gaynor Rigby 27, came out top scorers for Lever.
TMS Ladies have a 100 per cent record in Section M. This week they beat MG Ladies after leading 71-64 at half-time. TMS then dominated the second half to win the match 197-127. Top scorers were Nicola Ellison 30, Diane McKenzie 26 and Michelle Doherty 26.
Yorkettes, another team with a 100 per cent record, beat GT Ladies 312-154 to stay top of Section N.
Something had to give in Section K when top two teams Future XI and Bolton Castle met.
Future got off to a flying start, scoring 124 to Castle's 67. Castle then managed to contain their opponents to 58 runs in the second innings, but could not prevent them taking the match 182-135.
Katie Ainscow 46, Gemma Murphy 27, Kath Prescot 25 and Carmina Wood 23 were top scorers for Future.
Starlight XI beat their nearest rivals, Three Pigeons, 219(I)-63 as their domination of Section I looks complete.
