ARE you a working parent? With the problems reported in the media, who can you trust to look after your children? Do you prefer to use friends and relatives, or registered childminders?
Whatever your experiences, positive or negative, I would love to hear from you. I am a 25-year-old Bolton girl doing a PhD into the employment and childcare arrangements of parents. My interest comes from my own experience as an informal carer for my nephew.
The research is non-judgmental, and focusses on parents reasons for working and the advantages / disadvantages of using childcare. Anonymity is guaranteed.
I am looking to speak to working mothers and fathers, whether single, married or partnered.
If you would be willing to share your experiences, you can contact me by email or phone. I can ring you back to save on the phone bill.
