THERE is still time to buy tickets for Friday's international concert at the Albert Halls on Friday featuring young musicians from Bolton and its twin towns.
The concert, which is staged every two years, features youth orchestras from Bolton music Service and the towns of Le Mans, France, and Paderborn, Germany, who will form a combined orchestra of 130 players.
The gala concert will feature On the Steppes of Central Asia by Borodin; Bizet's L'Arlesienne Suite No 2; An Outdoor Overture by Aaron Copland and Rachmaninov's Concerto No 2 with the German soloist Sandra Urba on piano.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 (£3 for concessions). Call 01204 334400.
