Jake Shaw won his three matches to hit top spot in the top 10 competition.
Ron Pennington and Andy Michnowiec each won two games for the losers.
Little Lever A’s Ronnie Durose, Alan Lansdale and Steve McNicholas each won three in their victory over Little Lever B, while Wharton also scored a maximum points victory against an under-strength Burning Desire.
Nigel Hallows won three and Rob Hall two in Radcliffe CC’s 6-3 win against Ramsbottom C. Graham Hoy won two for Ramsbottom.
Heaton A proved they are the dominant team in Division One as the leaders hammered bottom-placed Meadow Bank 9-0.
Heaton’s Paul Ward, Steve Barber and Matt Ward, the top three players in the top 10, extended their lead over St Catherine’s B to 12 points.
St Catherine’s beat Heaton C 6-3 with three wins by Stuart Wallis and two by Marc Townsend for the winners. Dave Scowcroft won two for Heaton.
Nomads A won 7-2 at Wingates, which included a treble by Dennis Collier, as did Little Lever C at Ramsbottom D where John Hutchinson was the winners’ unbeaten player.
Three wins by Dave Bolton plus two by Lee Davenport proved to be decisive in a 5-4 win for Ladybridge A against Heaton B. Barry Dobbins won two for the losers.
Grubba Fans top Division Two for the first time after taking maximum points from Little Lever D.
Nomads B are two points behind the leaders after a 7-2 win at Hilton D where Brett Haslam won three and Dave Holden and John Davies won two each.
Third-placed Heaton D won 7-2 at Hilton E with John Cartledge earning a treble and Alan Crompton and John Scowcroft winning two each. Steven Ross recorded the two Hilton wins.
Mike Heaton won three and Rod Hall two for BEN A who beat Heaton F 5-4. Rene Seidel was unbeaten for Farnworth TTC A in a 6-3 victory over Hilton C. Coburg’s Bob Bent is the new top ten leader on 28 wins after his team took maximum points from Ladybridge B.
St Catherine’s D retained their unbeaten record at the top of Division Three with a 9-0 win at Ladybridge C.
Ben Dudley and Stuart McCaig of St Catherine’s share top spot in the top ten competition with 29 wins each.
Second-placed Hilton H suffered a 5-4 defeat at the hands of their F team for whom Barak Young was unbeaten.
Alan Hibbert won the three sets for BEN B in their 6-3 defeat by Farnworth SC and a treble by John Riley and two wins each for Andrew Riley and Roy Platt gave Meadow Hill B a 7-2 victory over St Paul’s Peel for whom Mick Murray won their two. Three wins by Roy Alty and Paul Spencer helped St Catherine’s E to a 7-2 win against Walkden Meths.
Farnworth TTC B and Hilton I share top place in Division Four after Farnworth beat Brass 6-3 and Hilton I scored maximum points against their K team after losing 6-3 at their J team.
Nathan Patel and Daniel Harris both won three for Farnworth and Minh Le and James Storey were unbeaten for Hilton J. Boyzone, whose Jez Grimwood leads the top ten, beat St Catherine’s F 9-0, and a 6-3 win by Heaton H over Lads Club B featured trebles by Dave Heaton and Sam Walsh.
