ONE of Beyonce’s top dancers took time off from her busy schedule to teach a class at a Bolton studio.
Saidah Fishenden, who co-stars as one of two dancers in Beyonce’s Sweet Dreams music video, gave budding movers at Sunshine Studios expert tips as well as an insight into the world of showbusiness. The 23-year-old was in the country supporting Beyonce’s tour, and was staying in Manchester ahead of the international superstar’s show at the MEN Arena.
When Josh Ricketts, director of Sunshine Studio in Newport Street, Bolton, heard that Beyonce was in town, he contacted her dancers’ agents to see if anyone would be available to take a class.
Saidah agreed, and she spent two-hours talking to the 35 dance club members, giving a demonstration, teaching them a routine and posing for photographs.
Mr Ricketts said: “It was fantastic. She’s been all over the world, flying every other day, and they only get one day off every few weeks.
“She’s been away from her home in America since March, so to get her to take her time out to take a masterclass in Bolton was a definite privilege.”
