RAMSBOTTOM B beat their C team 6-3 to go second in the Premier Division, one point behind their A team who did not play.
The victory featured two wins each for Terry Taylor, Brian Clements and Khamal Hussain, with Graham Young producing a double for the losers.
Radcliffe CC beat Little Lever B 7-2 with three wins by Nigel Hallows, and two each for Mick Dore and Ron Hall.
Tameside also won 7-2 against Burning Desire which included trebles by Phil Biggs and Jake Shaw.
Despite it still being early in the season the Division One battle for the title seems to be a two-horse race between Heaton A and St Catherine’s B as Nomads A in third spot are now 13 points adrift.
Heaton beat their C team 9-0 with Paul and Matt Ward and Steve Barber all unbeaten, while St Catherine’s B recorded a 7-2 victory over Ramsbottom D which included trebles by Kristof Pinter and Stuart Wallis.
Ramsbottom had previously won 7-2 at St Catherine’s C, with three wins by Tom Ryan and two apiece by Martin Holt and Ken Hayes.
The 8-1 win by Nomads at Heaton B included three wins by Derek Watmough and Dennis Collier, while John Bradbury was unbeaten for Wingates in their 5-4 defeat at Hilton B, and a Dave Bolton treble helped Ladybridge to a 7-2 win at Meadow Bank.
Top Division Two team Nomads B are now eight points in front of Coburg in second following a 8-1 win at Hilton E, while Coburg suffered a 7-2 defeat by Grubba Fans.
Dave Holden and Martin Howarth were unbeaten for Nomads, and Brett Haslam added two. Damian Bednarski and Tukasz Serdivk trebled for Grubba.
Three wins by John Birchall and two by Brian Greenhalgh gave Ladybridge B a 5-4 victory over Hilton C.
Steve Jones was unbeaten for Meadow Hill A and Phil Noden and Mick Kitchen added two each to give them a 7-2 win over Little lever D.
Hilton D beat Farnworth TTC A by the same score, with three wins by Tony Eardley and two each by Alan Bradshaw and Gary Hilton.
St Catherine’s D continued their unbeaten run with an 8-1 win at Farnworth SC to give them a five-point lead at the top of Division Three. Second-placed BEN B were beaten 7-2 by Hilton G who are third but with a game in hand on BEN B, as have St Catherine’s.
The win for St Catherine’s saw trebles for Stuart McCaig and Ben Dudley and a double for Debbie Wilson while Hilton’s James Eardley won three and Adele Spibey and Richard Reading two each.
Matt Hood and David Yates trebled for Irlam in their 6-3 victory at Hilton H, and three wins by Barak Young and two each by Gary Hibbert and Brian Young gave Hilton F a 7-2 win against Meadow Hill B.
The two top teams in Division Four both scored maximum points. Hilton J won at Hilton K with Minh Lee, John Parker and Andrew Morey all unbeaten, while Hilton I beat Heaton H with Gordon Stone, Malcolm Rose and Les Clough all winning three.
Lads Club A beat Heaton G 5-4 with two wins by Craig Duncan and sub Josh Sandford. Lads Club B had an 8-1 win over St Catherine’s F with three wins by Chris Ahmed and Buleni Dabby and two by Josh Sandford, while Boyzone came away from Brass with an 7-2 victory which included trebles by Jez and Nick Grimwood.
