THE number of people prescribed anti-virals for suspected swine flu has fallen, following two weeks of rising figures.
NHS Bolton released the figures yesterday, with 277 people issued medication for the week ending Sunday.
This compares to 293 the week before, which was up from 151, and sparked fears a second wave of the virus had hit Bolton.
Before this the town had experienced nearly two months of decreasing possible cases, from a peak of 2,285 suspected patients in mid-July.
