DANCERS are needed for two events in aid of the Marie Curie Nurses Appeal.
The Bolton News is backing the campaign which aims to raise £200,000 in Bolton in a year.
The money will provide more free nursing care for terminally ill people, allowing them to die at home.
A call is going out to anyone who wants to salsa — budding dancers are needed to learn the sexy South American dance and perform at a fun competition in October.
The proceeds and their sponsorship will go to the appeal and to find out more or sign up, contact Renee Heyes on 07740 151517 or call into the Olivia V Heyes Dance Club 2000 at 118a Lee Lane, Horwich.
Anyone wanting to get moving their feet can also take part in Marie Curie’s A Chance to Dance in November.
They will learn four dances from Camilla Dallerup, star of hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, and other teachers, before taking part in a mass dance.
The event will be held at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on Sunday, November 15.
A registration fee of £15 is needed to secure a place and participants will be asked to raise £100 in sponsorship.
To sign up contact Hannah Taylor at hannah.taylor@mariecurie. org.uk. or phone her on 0161 255 2810, 07798 638127.
