BAGPIPE players, sign language dancers and a Michael Jackson tribute act are among the highlights of a top Bolton show — and you are all invited.
Some 25 groups will take to the stage for the Bolton Bazaar talent contest in front of 1,000 guests at Victoria Hall.
Now in its seventh year, the showcase has been organised to illustrate the town’s cultural diversity.
More than 200 performers and behind-the-scenes helpers volunteered to put on the show. A panel of three judges will pick a winner.
The event takes place at 6.30pm next Saturday, August 8.
But those taking to the stage have a chance to polish their act 24 hours earlier when a preview event takes place, also at the hall.
And, before the Saturday entertainment, there will be a chance for guests to taste the best of the town’s cuisine with a world food sampling event, also at the hall, from 2pm.
Show hostess Reena Banks said: “All the performers are really excited now.
“Hopefully all the hard work will pay off. It’s not too late for volunteers to get involved. They can contact us via the website.”
