If your eyes are feeling a bit weary and you’re carry more baggage than the average fashionista after a shopping spree then you’ll need some kind of miracle (extra sleep could help) and that comes in the shape of Elemis’s limited edition Eye Duo treatment.
‘See the Difference’ from the Eyes wide Open range is set to launch on Monday and comes with a huge warning — it’s going to be a sell-out.
The science bit! The skin tissue around your eyes contains fewer oil glands than the rest of the face, so it’s important to take extra care around the eye area, which can show signs of stress, tiredness and ageing.
The Eye Duo is presented in a limited edition faux leather jewellery box and comes in at £55 — so what do you get for your money I hear you cry.
This set includes an Absolute Eye Serum (15ml) and Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal (15ml). This is a two-step daily eye treatment which apparently will ‘intensely support, tone and lift the eye area’.
Step one is to decongest and de-puff your eyes. The serum contains rosewood, osmanthus, lavender and chamomile to reduce dark circles and puffiness around the eye area while gently preserving, lifting and refining the eye tissue.
Step two is to smooth and firm with the eye renewal. This lightweight cream-gel is proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by up to 60 per cent in just one month.
All you need to do is apply one on top of the other by gently dabbing the oil and sweeping the gel over and hey presto!
And I have to admit, after using it for a few nights, it amazed me. My dark circles were reduced, my eyes I can only describe felt ‘bing’ and if that’s only after a couple of days, then I’m sure it’s going to start working on those wrinkles creeping in.
Get in there quick though, once it’s gone, it’s gone and it’s only available until May 31. For stockists call 01278 727 830 or go to www.elemis.com
