BOLTON Mountain Rescue had a busy Easter weekend, dealing with incidents and helping out at events.
The team was on hand on Good Friday to provide support for walkers taking the annual trek up Rivington Pike.
Volunteers helped a mountain biker who injured his arm, searched for a 10-year-old boy who briefly lost his parents, and came to the aid of a young boy who fell near Pigeon Tower, fracturing his foot.
Team members were also on hand for the Rivington Pike fell race on Saturday, but there were no incidents.
On Sunday, the service was called out to help a man who had a fit near Darwen Tower.
A group of 18 team members were called to the tower, but were stood down when the man was able to walk to a waiting ambulance.
