THE bravery of two young boys inspired children to put a smile of the faces of poorly youngsters this Easter.
Classmates of Jacob Tudor and Jackson France — who are both battling cancer — collected easter eggs for children at the hospital where they are being treated.
On the last day of term, Jacob dropped into St James CE in Daisy Hill, to see his fellow pupils, who had collected 150 Easter eggs.
They will be taken to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, in Pendlebury.
Jacob, aged five, is undergoing treatment for a brain tumour, and Jackson, aged four, is recovering from a bone marrow transplant after contracting leukaemia.
The Easter eggs — and some bouquets of flowers — were donated by the children at their annual Flower and Eggs Easter Service at St James Church, Daisy Hill.
