FC United came from behind to beat Ossett Town at Gigg Lane last night to keep their UniBond Premier League play-off hopes alive.
The Rebels were 2-0 down after half an hour – Aiden Savory opening the scoring on three minutes then doubling the lead from the penalty spot. But Phil Marsh pulled one back on 37 minutes and Adam Tong equalised a minute later.
Simon Carden headed the winner on 65 minutes to make it 16 points from six games for FC.
Under 18s are being offered free admission to Saturday’s home game against North Ferriby, kick off 3pm.
