Today we walked along the wall from jinshanling to simutai which was about 10km which doesnt seem too far until you see how steep the wall is that is!

The weather was cold, clear but snowy believe it or not! The views were magical and it really made you realise what a feat it must have been to build the wall. Afterwards we asked if we could in back to a remote rural village to have a look around and the locals were fascinated by us, even a digital photo was a new concept to them. One small coffee shop allowed us to have a beer there and at 20p a bottle who could resist. We felt like millionaires but it also made you realise the poverty there is away from the main cities. Tomorrow we move location and take on our toughest challenge climbing to some of the most inaccessible parts of the wall. We can't wait.
