LEIGH Genesis showed a big improvement in earning a point which could act as a vital confidence-booster in their end-of-season run-in.
Genesis remain rooted to the foot of the UniBond League Premier Division, but they can take heart from a solid show at Radcliffe’s Stainton Park ground, especially as they played the last 40 minutes with only 10 men after midfielder Karl Brown was sent off for two bookable offences.
Genesis, who had chances to go on and win the game against the third-bottom side, had excellent performers throughout the side, particularly at the back where centre-half Alex Cunliffe and goalkeeper Dean Porter took the eye.
