GARY Megson has hit back at Wanderers boo-boys after being subjected to a torrent of abuse at Ewood Park.
The Bolton supporters turned on Megson after seeing Bolton throw away a two-goal lead to draw at Blackburn.
But the Reebok boss feels the hostility towards him is having a negative impact on the team, who have now gone six games without a victory.
“I’ve had to cope with it for a long time and I don’t like – it’s pathetic,” said Megson.
“The reaction to myself is absolutely astounding.
“The players are having to cope with that and it makes it difficult. When they are slaughtering me it makes the players angry."
