It’s time to get girly, ditch the trousers and dig out a dress.

Coming in at £50 from New Look, it has been updated by adding a net skirt underneath. It’s in the limited edition collection so you’re going to have to hurry to bag yours. The heels come in at £45. A show stopping outfit for under £100, you can’t beat it.
Colours are hot on the high street this season and I’ve picked a selection of the finest to tickle your fancy.
This yellow dress from Marks and Spencer is perfect for the office, you’ll certainly brighten the place up in a sea of black suits. The frills are perfect if you need to enhance your bust. Try adding a skinny belt in black to break up the block colour. Team with a cardigan if you’re feeling the chill. Price to be confirmed.
If you would like to stick with brights then why not go for this orange shift dress from Primark. At £15 you can’t lose with this dress. The bow detail and the buttons give it a regal grace, while the nipped in waist will give you a great silhouette.
With autumn/winter collections still in the shops oyu might want to try to get your hands on this taffeta tube tie dress from Rare. At £49 it won’t break the bank and the ruffles are bang on trend. Make sure you wear with sky high heels and you can keep your opaque tights on if the weather is not quite warm enough.
If your legs have barely seen daylight since, well, April 08, then you might want to keep them covered until you can invest in some fake tan. This dress form Monsoon is perfect for that. The floaty fabric will allude to your frame underneath, whilst hiding your post Christmas lumps and bumps.
The delicate roses will draw attention to your bust and therefore away from your hips but possibly avoid if you’re top heavy, unless you stick a cardigan over the top.
At £150 it is at the high end of the budget so you’ll probably want to keep it for a special occasion... Valentine’s Day anyone?
