It’s dull and grey outside, yes, winter is still here. And if you’re bored of black and want to jazz things up a bit you’ll need to grab yourself some brights.
To start we have these yellow beauties. The lace-up peep-toes come in at £80 from Mode in Pelle, and you’ll certainly be seen walking down the street in them. The shiny patent excentuates the bright shade and the coloured heel gives a greater surface area to play with. These will look stunning with a colour clashing party dress, such as primary colour blue or red.
Shocking is the word of the day when faced with this bright pink bag from Debenhams. Jasper Conran excels when it comes to accessories and if there is only one bag you buy this summer, it should be this. Coming in at £65 it’s the high end of the budget but it will be sure to last due to the quality of the product.
If you fancy brightening up your work wear then why not go for this yellow tulip skirt at £25 from Dorothy Perkins. Team with a crisp white shirt when the weather hots up, or go for a black camisole and cute cardigan. Tulip skirts are everywhere on the high street this summer and are a god send for pear shapes. They will nip you in at the waist and hide those problem areas.
River Island has the look in the bag with this ensemble. Ethnic prints are big on the catwalks and you’ll not fail in the red peep-toe platforms. Tulip skirt again and clashing prints, we are definitely seeing a recuring theme. Prices are yet to be confirmed.
