A CHARITY is to benefit from £700 presented to an inspirational woman in Horwich.
Organisations in Bolton have been raising cash for The Willow Foundation — which organises special trips for ill people — after hearing Jan O’Brien’s story.
Mrs O’Brien, aged 32, of Melbourne Grove, Horwich, had cancer in her jaw and some bone from her leg was used to reconstruct it.
Wilderswood Masonic Lodge in Horwich donated £100 to the charity and Nohow Productions, a small performing group raised £600.
The cash will be added to the £3,000 that Mrs O’Brien has raised with sales of her musical theatre calendar.
